The NEXCOM system nROK 7271 is designed to enhance the operational efficiency of public transportation and services. It is powered by an Intel® 12/13th Gen FCLGA1700 socket-type CPU and offers a versatile solution with 4/12-port 802.3 af/at PoE, delivering robust computing capabilities. Support for dual SIM cards per modem ensures improved connectivity quality through software-based backup of two SIM cards. Additionally, including RAID 0 and 1 guarantees the safety of data stored on the 2 x external SSD drives.
What sets the nROK 7271 apart is its ability to provide power isolation for voltages ranging from 24V to 110VDC. It also offers optional 3-second protection against temporary voltage dips, a critical feature for scenarios where fluctuations in input voltage could potentially disrupt equipment operation.
With a daughter board expansion design, it offers the option for an additional 1 x mini-PCIe slot (BOM optional for M.2 Key E) and 2 x M.2 Key B slots. Moreover, it provides flexibility with options for an 8-port 1Gbps Ethernet Switch GbE with PoE 802.3af/at support (max. 30W), or a 2-port 10GbE M12 X-coded configuration. This versatility makes the nROK 7271 well-suited to meet various demands in rolling stock applications, including infotainment, transportation cellular routers, video servers, and video surveillance systems.
